Poor results with a GTX 1050.
Greetings, I’ve experienced this problem from the moment I acquired my graphics card. My configuration includes an FX6300 processor and a Zotac GTX1050. I’ve observed that several games, such as GTA 5, achieve frame rates between 40 and 60 frames per second at the ULTRA setting on a 1080p display, while I’m running at a resolution of 1366x768 and receive similar performance levels with low settings. This issue persists across multiple titles where my hardware should theoretically deliver excellent frame rates based on resolution and graphics card capability, yet I consistently encounter low performance.
Specifically, in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, I typically receive approximately 50 frames per second on the ULTRA setting, despite my GPU being capable of significantly higher frame rates in competitive games. My system specifications are as follows: AMD FX6300, GTX1050, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB 7200RPM hard drive. I’ve come across information suggesting that my CPU is adequate for the graphics card, however, it's possible this is causing a bottleneck or that my current resolution isn’t fully utilizing the GPU's potential. Could you provide some guidance?
Ensure your device’s software is current if you haven't already. Check for malicious programs and infections. If the issue stems from a Windows malfunction, restoring your system to its original state could provide significant relief.
the central processing unit and graphics card work exceptionally well together, preventing performance limitations. eight gigabytes of memory is now insufficient and may lead to slower gameplay in expansive games, notably *Grand Theft Auto V*. I recommend upgrading to double the amount of RAM.
