Recently, I've been playing Borderlands Game of the Year Edition on Steam. I can play for hours upon hours and have no issue at all except for the stupid little glitches that happen sometimes like the car getting stuck on nothing, but I digress. I loaded into Jakob's Cove Sunday and today to find myself at 15 FPS or lower. Audio will play as normal, but the seconds per frame is really bad. Today, I loaded into the Knox DLC and if you take a look at the video in the link, you'll see what I mean. When I loaded in, the cutscene played without a problem and the audio from the ECHO played fine while I ran around and bumped into walls at 3 FPS. Obviously, this shouldn't be happening on an overkill computer with an i9 9900k and a 3080, 64 GB of ram. I'm using Windows 11 with this also, but that doesn't seem to matter since my friends are playing this on W10 with the same issues. All my Nvidia drivers are up to date and I'm very anal about keeping updates flowing in. All my control panel stuff is fixed to where I get the best possible performance out of the computer no matter what I'm doing. All other games aside from this one will run perfectly at 4k 60FPS. What's going on that this game is doing this? By the way, restarting the game and/or computer fixes the issue, but it shouldn't happen at all. Consider using DxWebSetup from Microsoft for DirectX updates.

Great idea, but all your DirectX requirements are covered from every perspective.
