My computer was purchased approximately in 2017. It’s a custom-built system, and its initial performance was underwhelming. However, it unexpectedly handled games such as Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege at a steady 60 frames per second with medium to high graphics settings. Over the last year, its performance has significantly deteriorated. Currently, I play Fortnite with all settings minimized and resolution lowered, yet I still frequently encounter frame rate drops reaching 30-40 fps. I've thoroughly cleaned the device, inspected and replaced the thermal paste, adjusted numerous configurations—and nothing has improved. I’m seeking assistance.

Specifications:
AMD Radeon RX 560 with 2GB of video memory
AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor
Gigabyte 970A-DS3P Motherboard
8 Gigabytes of RAM

What is the quantity of RAM you possess? Does it operate in a dual-channel configuration?

My computer has a single memory module. It’s not configured for simultaneous operation.

Should you reinstall Windows?
Or your hard drive or solid state drive could be failing.

What led you to determine that "the thermal paste appears satisfactory"?
