PC specifications: Ryzen 9 3900xt, 2080 Super, Asus motherboard X570 gaming build, M.2 SSD and a regular SSD. Previously used four RAM sticks with DDR4 3600C19, the system began acting up a few weeks ago. Initially it would freeze when launching Halo Infinite, becoming almost unresponsive. Once started, it would crash and restart. Later, playing any game caused freezing and stuttering. A FPS counter showed 120 FPS, but it wasn’t visible. I’ve tried cleaning the PC three times, updating BIOS and drivers, reinstalling graphics cards one by one, checking temperatures, enabling DOCP in BIOS, and even replacing RAM sticks individually. Nothing is overheating. I’m running out of options and feeling stuck.

It might be your SSD that's the problem, though the PSU could also be an issue. What do you think?

I think it's a Corsair 850x with an SSD that's a Samsung 970Evo, probably NS.

seems like solid specs, I’ll look for a way or come up with an idea.

Have you attempted to reset the graphics driver and reinstall it? It seems like a graphics problem might be the cause. Try this, and if it doesn’t resolve the issue, I suspect it’s related to your GPU. I hope not!

I received the new GPU but the problem persists. Also, I’m unsure how to clear a driver or reinstall it properly.

Download and execute DDU in safe mode. Eliminate all remnants of drivers, AMD, INTEL and NVIDIA. If uncertainty remains, numerous tutorials exist to assist. After finishing, proceed to Nvidia (or do this prior to wiping) and fetch the latest drivers. Install. I routinely run DDU before installing a new driver.

I found a previous graphics driver cleanup tool but don’t remember its exact name. Try searching for one of those and reinstall it.
