It's a 3090 FE with power coming from one 12-pin connector that splits into two 8-pin ports. The two 8-pins are connected separately to the PSU. I plan to swap out the current PSU and test it. Thanks!
Just for reference, here is what my 3dmark run looks like. I have a small amount of voltage drop (12.2 to 12.1) and at the end of each test as the load comes off the voltage instability limit kicks on for a second. Mostly it's just the power limit being hit. This is with a 1080 so a different animal than your 3090.
The system shows a clear problem, but your board reaches its maximum power consumption of 300W, which aligns with the specifications, while GPU usage remains around 40-60%. I don’t understand what that means. I recommend booting in safe mode, using DDU to check details, and reinstalling the latest drivers. It looks like there’s more going on than just power delivery.
I just finished using DDU recently, and it cleaned out a lot of outdated NVIDIA and AMD drivers. However, it didn’t solve the performance problems.
