It's just texture updates and some fresh models, like Skyrim-style modding. It should work well with most things.

These two titles are excellent, but if you must choose just one, I’d go for Witcher 3. Keep the hair effects off unless you enjoy a beast system. Still, playing both is a good idea.

Witcher 3 is mentioned multiple times here. It’s currently available for $30 on Steam, which is cheaper than the Origin version. I’d suggest the DRM-free edition from GOG, though it costs $59.99 right now.

Taking a different approach, I'm suggesting DA:I. Since it's from EA, I think the price won't drop much, and it won't be on sale often. Witcher 3 might offer more regular discounts, though it may stay above that price for a while before possibly dropping.
