plze help newb trying to get overclock right
I turned on XMP in BIOS and got a cooler master CPU, plus I installed a radiator on top. The GPU stays air-cooled but I keep it at 18°C in my case—it works fine. I also added an extra fan on the back, which is doing well.
Using a 240 aio would allow handling 1.3-1.32v core voltage max with an all-core load. Exceeding that will be tough to manage under full load. A steady vcore should stay around 1.375v with a typical LLC, giving you roughly 1.3-1.32v full load voltage. Focus on the highest stable CPU multiplier at that voltage.
I'm worried about pushing it further—I might make a mistake. Still, I enjoy this small improvement and hope I can maintain the machine well so it lasts longer.
