Hi, I'm experiencing some performance concerns with my PC. It seems like a part of it might be limiting its speed. For instance, when playing games and using Chrome, I notice noticeable drops in FPS, which is frustrating. Here are my system details: AMD FX 6300, AMD R7 260x, 1GB HyperX Fury, 8GB DDR3 SSD, 120GB system drive, 500GB HDD for games.

Chrome running while gaming can cause serious problems, so you'll need a powerful machine to handle the strain. These specs seem okay if Chrome isn't active, but they might still struggle under load.

It wouldn’t be accurate to say "16GB of RAM" is the same as a high-end PC. More fitting would be "sufficient RAM for smooth performance without frequent interruptions."

Increase memory capacity. 16GB DDR3 costs $30 on eBay.

I run librewolf, a Firefox fork. It likely needs a decent amount of RAM, though I haven’t used Chrome recently, making my memory recall unclear. They seem to develop together, so upgrading now might be a good idea. Plus, my hardware has improved—currently 8GB compared to 4, which has made my experience quite smooth.

Rad! What’s the situation? Is there a strong app environment? I’ve often thought about moving away from Chromium, but the transition costs seem really high. Still, it seems like everything needs to be isolated for safety, which has made RAM usage much higher.

League of Legends is a really enjoyable and engaging team-based game. You also get to interact with many friendly and kind players who are great at making connections!
