You're experiencing an issue where remote access setup in Plex shows a green status initially but changes to red after 15 seconds. It seems the connection is unstable or timing-related. Since you're new, double-check your network settings and ensure the Plex server is running smoothly. Let me know if you need further help!

Check if your setup uses a Plex account or is simply redirecting port 32400. Verify whether you own a Plex Pass subscription.

Before my TrueNAS pool failed, I faced the same problem. The best fix was running TailScale on TrueNAS as an exit node. Now I connect my mobile devices to access my Plex/Jellyfin server from anywhere.
