The TT water 2.0 offers superior performance compared to the 2, thanks to its thicker radiator and dual fans for enhanced cooling. The same applies to the H80i GT. Both models approach the capabilities of a 240mm rad with a similar design to the H100i. However, it's important to note that AIOs differ significantly from air coolers in another key aspect—cooling efficiency. An AIO operating at 50°C performs just as well as an air cooler at 40°C. The distinction becomes more apparent when workloads increase the air cooler to 70°C while the AIO stays at 55°C. As long as the cooling capacity remains above 70°C, the CPU temperature readings of 32°C or 62°C have little impact on performance. This makes direct comparisons between AIOs and air coolers challenging due to their fundamentally different working principles. Between the water 2.0 Performer and the H80i GT, the H80i shows a slight edge, but the price difference doesn't justify the minor advantage.
