I recently upgraded my central processing unit to Ryzen from Intel (the motherboard or CPU failed – a Xeon 3rd generation – and everything else seemed to function adequately, except I’m receiving no display from the computer).

Specifications:
GeForce GTX 1060 (Zotac)
Ryzen 5 2600
HyperX 2x4 for 8GB memory
Prime350-Plus motherboard
Windows 10

The Ryzen 5 2600 lacks an integrated GPU and requires a separate graphics card for monitor output. Alternatively, the motherboard may necessitate a BIOS update to ensure compatibility with second-generation Ryzen processors.

The Ryzen 5 2600 processor lacks an integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU), so a display connection must be made via a dedicated graphics card. Alternatively, the motherboard may require a BIOS update to properly support second-generation Ryzen processors.

Indeed, I possess a £1.06 coin that I neglected to mention.

If the operating system wasn't properly reinstalled, that’s likely the cause. Are you able to access the basic input/output system (BIOS)? A B350 motherboard needs an updated BIOS version to function correctly with a 2600 processor. Was there a label on the box indicating compatibility with second-generation hardware?

It does possess that, and if I were able to perform a fresh installation, I would, but there’s no screen output and no audible beep. Attempting to remove the RAM and update the BIOS will not be straightforward without a visible display.

Regarding issue 851j3675:

Yes, I possess it, and if possible, I will perform a clean installation. However, I’m experiencing no display output and no beeping sound. Removing the RAM and updating the BIOS are proving difficult due to the lack of a visual indication.

I lack this item; it’s simpler to resolve with its presence.
