Please help! Things are getting worse.
Hello,
I’d like to start by saying I’m not very familiar with PC hardware and software. I just purchased parts and followed a YouTube tutorial to assemble my PC. My knowledge is limited to that point.
MY CURRENT CONFIGURATION
- Ryzen 5900X, RTX 3070 Ti, B550 Mortar Wifi MB, 32GB RAM Corsair Vengeance, Corsair H100 Liquid Cooler, Corsair RMX 850 PSU.
- Two SSDs each with 2TB, plus a 2TB hard drive.
- Six Corsair fans.
WHAT OCCURRED
A few weeks ago, I left my PC in sleep mode for several hours and noticed one of the RGB lights on a fan dimmed. I thought maybe leaving it in sleep for long periods caused the issue, but it could have been random. The light would sometimes fade and other times stay bright. I replaced the fan, but the same problem persisted. Over time, more fans started to dim or stop lighting completely, though they kept spinning. I tried swapping the fans to see if that helped, but the same issue continued.
I also got a new commander core XT and stopped using the case’s RGB hub, yet the problem remained.
Recently, my PC has begun restarting on its own while gaming. Sometimes it fails to reload windows. I’ve checked my PSU (750W initially, upgraded to 850W) and updated the BIOS, but nothing changed. I’m not sure what else to try next. CPU and GPU temperatures look normal, so overheating isn’t likely.
EDIT
I use iCue software and a lighting profile I downloaded years ago. When my PC is locked, the RGB colors change and two fans light up, which are completely dimmed when the system runs.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE?
I would really appreciate any suggestions or alternative troubleshooting steps I could try.
Thank you!
Full system specifications are available, including the PSU brand and model. Try uninstalling Icue.
the specs are listed in the original message. psu is Corsair RM850x. Uninstalled icue already with no changes. pc also restarts during games now.

I’ve tried checking the power supply unit (PSU) since I had a 750W one initially. Upgrading to an 850W didn’t fix the problem, so I suspect the PSU isn’t the main cause. I also updated my BIOS, but I’m unsure what else to try next. CPU and GPU temperatures look normal, so overheating doesn’t seem likely.
