Please help; PC won't start properly, everything seems to be on but no connection
Hello, today I woke up and tried to use my computer, but the screens, keyboard, and mouse didn’t connect. The display simply put itself into sleep mode. Everything inside seemed normal except for the yellow light on the motherboard, which suggests a DRAM problem. I’ve noticed that when the system started up before, all fans ran at full speed—especially around the graphics card—and then slowed down briefly. Now, after restarting, fans spin normally except for two out of three on the graphics card. I’ve checked several things: cables to monitors, power cycles, RAM tests, removing a RAM stick, swapping RAM slots, and even the motherboard battery. Still nothing works as expected. I’m unsure what to do next. Would it be wise to take it to a service center?
Have you considered checking if it's not a RAM training session?
Wait the appropriate amount of time based on your situation. Since it's been running for over five hours and you haven't seen any results, consider checking your system logs or restarting it if possible. If it restarts during sleep, that might explain why it didn’t work.
Check if training is limited to about five minutes—this might indicate another problem. Since there’s no GPU, have you connected the cable directly to the motherboard to use the integrated graphics? If not, try connecting a single stick in a random slot on the motherboard. You could also test each RAM individually by placing one stick in a random slot and checking for the DRAM indicator light.
I see, I tried it all again now, didn't do anything. Even tried now to run it without anything but the CPU and memory sticks. Removed all other components, still no luck
