It's highly unlikely it's related to RAM since the issue persists even when using each stick separately (still problematic). I'll check other factors, but I'm curious—will it still happen if the device is older? No action taken yet, and the trigger was a Windows update.

Hopefully the Windows reinstall you're performing now will fix the problem. If not, we should try some troubleshooting steps. Using different RAM modules doesn't automatically mean the issue isn't with the RAM itself—it could be a faulty memory controller (which is part of the CPU) or something else. Stay tuned and keep us updated! We'll work through this together.

I restored the computer since the new Windows update didn’t install properly, but all my applications were gone. Appreciate your assistance.

It could be unrelated to the recent update, possibly due to backend issues that became clear after the change. I'm relieved it's resolved.

Hinjima is simply exploring the possibility, wondering if a virus might be involved. Even with limited security measures, it's worth considering. I plan to enhance protection if needed.

The likelihood of this being virus-related is minimal, they usually don’t interfere with the BIOS in such ways. Avoiding suspicious sites should help you stay safe. Using the built-in antivirus and Malwarebytes (free) is a good practice for PC protection.
