Hi everyone, I'm facing serious problems with frame drops and stutters while gaming on my PC.
Here are the details:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz, 8-core (about 8 months old)
Motherboard: MSI X570-A PRO ATX AM4 (2 years old)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB DDR4-3200 CL16 (2 years old)
Storage: SanDisk SSD PLUS 1 TB 2.5" (2 years old)
HDD: Hitachi 700GB (very old, possibly 3-6 years)
GPU: New 1GB GeForce GTX 1050 Ti D5 4GB (brand new, previous one under warranty)
Power Supply: Cougar 1000W 80+ Bronze (2 years old)
I've recently reinstalled the graphics drivers and updated the BIOS. I've only tested the SSD and HDD so far. I bought a completely new GPU, but the old one was clearly faulty and didn't fix the issue. My case has fans installed for cooling. I've tried various game-specific fixes, but nothing helped.
Could you help me figure out what's going on? I noticed some improvement after these changes, but it's still not fully resolved.

What is the display resolution and refresh rate? Does your monitor support free sync or G-Sync?

1080p 240 hz with g sync works, but enabling and disabling g sync still causes the same problem.
