Simply connect an HDMI cable from your graphics card to the television, and then connect the computer by plugging the power cord into a wall outlet and inserting the other end into the PC’s power supply – this is done identically to how you would connect any other device via HDMI.

So Geek Squad can't come out until Sunday and he said that the HDMI is hooked up to the graphics slot and the HDMI is in the port on the TV. He is so upset right now this is the worst. The man at Best Buy said this was a easy hook up and only needed to connect 2 cables.
Right. You seem to have it connected correctly.
And then on the TV, you need to select the proper HDMI port.
