My son recently received a new Cyberpower Tower GMA 3000BST and we are unable to connect it to his Samsung Smart TV or Lenovo monitor. Could someone please assist us? He is very stressed because he has longed for a gaming computer for three years and just now we don’t know how to set it up.

The Geek Squad technician informed us that the HDMI connection is routed through the graphics card and plugged into the television's port, causing significant frustration. He initially believed it was a simple two-cable connection as Best Buy suggested. However, you’ve correctly established the connection. Furthermore, you must choose the correct HDMI input on the TV. Please remain calm… 😉 Both of you should consider this calmly and rationally.

Casey’s son recently received a new Cyberpower GMA 3000BST tower and we are struggling to connect it to his Samsung Smart TV or Lenovo monitor. We need assistance; he's very upset because he’s finally obtained a gaming PC after waiting three years and now we don't know how to set it up.

If you lack experience with computer components, please dial 888-900-5180 to consult with Cyberpower’s specialists who can help resolve this issue. Any physical damage will invalidate the computer or any component’s warranty.

Numerous videos on YouTube demonstrate PC construction, including HDMI or DisplayPort cable connections.

HDMI from the top GPU (not the Motherboard where all the USB and other IO are) to the HDMI port on the TV. If the monitor does not have HDMI (unlikely) use display port.

Currently, he’s speaking with Tech Support. Should that not fix it, I’ll ask him to contact that number you provided. Could you confirm whether that line is currently operational? Today.

Currently, he’s speaking with Geek Squad about this issue. If that doesn't fix it, he’ll call the number you provided. Do you happen to know if that line is currently operational? It’s not open today. I can understand his frustration/discomfort.

Did Cyberpower instruct Linus’s female aide to “locate a companion for support” during their call regarding the various problems stemming from the system’s construction? (YouTube video series)

Generally, you'll want to connect an HDMI cable from your computer’s graphics card to an available HDMI port on the television, mirroring a connection similar to that used with a Microsoft Xbox or PlayStation – a connection he likely possesses some knowledge of.

The Tech Support team indicated they wouldn't be able to dispatch an agent until Sunday, and he explained that the HDMI cable is connected to the graphics card slot while the other end sits within the TV’s port. He’s extremely frustrated at this point; it’s a very poor situation. A representative from Best Buy previously stated that this was a straightforward connection requiring just two cables.

While theoretically correct – with a power cable from the computer to the outlet, an HDMI cable connecting the computer to the TV, and USB connections for peripherals – the problem remains unclear. Specifically, what is the actual issue or symptom being encountered?

Additionally, verify that the HDMI cable plugs into an input port on the television, rather than the output intended for a sound bar or audio receiver.
