I operate a g500 with a Warpad setup. The monitor sits around 1000 or 1150 dpi. With acceleration enabled, movement affects how much it turns, depending on speed. I mainly rely on a single shot during games in the Cod series, using a hit scan player. I've consistently used the same Logitech model for years, which feels natural when handling the mouse.

My naga captures high detail at 1800dpi, and I typically stick to the standard sensitivity settings while watching frame rates. Most of my actions occur within a compact 2x2 or 2x3 inch area. I’d describe myself as a quick reflex player—fast wrist motions and sharp reactions. I’m adept at spotting details and have excellent peripheral awareness.

I notice twitch users with high and low sensitivity settings often use the full mousepad. When using low sensitivity, it feels slow to turn around, which is part of the learning curve. I need to move my hand quickly, that's the challenge.

You keep your mouse at 1800dpi and fine-tune the game sensitivity. On the battlefield, you cover a quarter of the mousepad for smooth 360-degree turns.

Sure, I've got a big corner desk from IKEA. About seven years ago I used a mouse mat, man!
