There are several enjoyable multiplayer video games that work well on laptops with built-in graphics. Look for titles that prioritize performance and offer engaging online experiences despite the hardware limitations.

Portal 2 at 720p can offer a really fun multiplayer experience using built-in graphics. It features an excellent cooperative storyline and thousands of community-created maps designed for team play (easily available from the Steam Workshop). Likely one of my best co-op titles. Currently priced at just one dollar on Steam.

And Terraria is also a straightforward game to play (verified on YouTube, works with integrated graphics). A solid co-op experience where you need to gather resources, craft new weapons, build a base, defeat monsters, etc. It’s easy to spend a few hundred hours, but way more enjoyable when you play with someone else.

There are many games from the early 2000s that still attract players today, including titles that run smoothly on modern systems like Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast, Soldier of Fortune II, Quake III Arena, and Unreal Tournament. Some have updated versions available on Steam, making them accessible again. Classic MMOs such as Runescape, Ragnarok, and classic World of Warcraft remain popular too. Additionally, there are fan-created restorations of older games like FreeSO, Pirates of the Caribbean, and SWGLegends.

It performs well with a mid-range modern processor.

You may need to adjust certain options, though TF2 remains quite enjoyable.
