Playing via a dedicated link
Here’s a revised version of your message:
So here’s the situation—I’m using two internet connections at once because gigabit speeds are tough to secure in Australia. My business plan needs fast performance, but the latency is around 50-60 ms on the high-speed link and much higher ping on the other. The upload speed on the low-latency connection isn’t sufficient for streaming. I have a spare PC, but setting it up is frustrating and I don’t have the right gear. I’m considering using one via Ethernet and the other wireless so I can stream over the high-speed link while playing on the faster connection. I’ve done some research, but it seems outdated. Is this even feasible? Thanks, Oliver
There are many basic strategies available, and most Australian home internet setups can handle streaming. I wanted to find out what he’s really working on, since streaming typically uses much less than a few megabits.
It doesn't need gigabit speeds. I'd prefer streaming over the faster connection so it doesn't affect my game performance. The upload speed on the lower latency link is just a few megabits per second.
