Playing poorly in BF1
Playing poorly in BF1
Well, I'm not playing at 4k i'm certain about that and yes I checked the resolution scale slider and that's set to 100% and the settings were set to ultra, some on medium and high by Geforce Experience so then I lowered the settings to the Medium Preset and it got better but there is still some slight stuttering that is quite annoying when playing.
Well, the monitor doesn't handle GSync properly. That's what I was trying to say—I'm really confused. I used to have an i5 6500 about a year ago with the same GPU, and it worked fine. After selling it, I got an i7, and then I recently built another PC using the i5 7500. It's running slower than the 6500, so yeah, I'm not sure what's happening.
I checked Bios and saw my RAM was stuck at 2133Mhz, but I increased it to 2400Mhz since that’s the max supported by the MOBO with a 7th GEN CPU. I also adjusted a few ASUS-specific settings that only they use, which changes the PC’s mode to "Performance." I plan to test it again after downloading BF1 once more. Frustrated, I uninstalled it and will wait about 1.5 hours before trying again.
Have you noticed bf1.exe running with 8 GB alone? Usually I see about 9–10 GB in use for my system while playing Battlefield 1, and that covers Windows plus any background programs I have running.
