Hey everyone, I'm facing a problem with maintaining a consistent 60fps in BF1. I think my system is fine, but it's not performing well. My specs are: CPU - i5 7500, GPU - GTX 1060 (3GB), RAM - 8GB DDR4 (2x4GB), motherboard - Asus B250m-A, power supply - 500w Corsair. I'm running NZXT Cam software in the background and noticed the CPU usage stays near 100% while the GPU hovers around 70-80%. I know BF1 is demanding on the CPU, but it's still a bit concerning. My other PC has an i7 6700k and runs without stuttering or dropping below 60fps, even with more RAM. I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. The fans are set up well, and the PSU seems to help with cooling. I also confirmed dual-channel RAM is working properly. I just don't understand what's going on and would really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips. I've attached a picture of the setup for reference.

I don't have access to your current setup. Could you tell me what monitor you're using?

Asus, the exact model isn't clear but it's a 144Hz 1080p display measuring 27 inches.

Performance has declined over time with each release. Are you running an overclocked RAM setup on your i5? BF would see significant improvement with faster memory.

You're using the RAM from Newegg, specifically a DDR4 2800MHz model.

More RAM boosts performance by allowing more data to be handled simultaneously, not just making the RAM itself faster.

I noticed this! You probably bought the 3 GB version because you expected more memory, but that extra RAM might actually limit performance.

The board supports higher speeds beyond the default 2133/2400MHz. It can handle overclocked RAM and is compatible with 8GB configurations.

It's not due to having another machine with 16GB RAM DDR4 2400Mhz, an i7 6700k, or using the same GPU. It simply performs much better on this one.

Specified at 2400Mhz using 7th generation processors as advertised.
