Playing PC games on your living room TV is easy.
Currently my office is where I store my desktop and this is also where I play games. I would like to play games on my living room tv but I’m not sure how to send the signal over such a long distance.
I’ve considered nvidia shield and hdmi over Ethernet. I’m open to running fiber if that’s easier/better as well.
My living room is about 300 ft away from my pc. (This is an estimated distance if a cable was ran through the wall over to the living room tv.)
My only concern would be latency issues when playing online games.
What would be the best solution for this? Assume money is no object for crazy performance setups but preferably a cheaper one with similar performance would be better for me.
Thanks in advance
Regardless of whether you use wireless or ethernet, the differences should be minimal. I recommend ethernet since it minimizes artifacting and offers greater reliability.
