I'm curious to know if anyone has attempted to run an x86 game on ARM processors.

No ARM CPUs can execute x86 instructions directly; they require emulation or translation.

It seems you're facing an issue with running an x86 program. Let me know how I can assist further!

There are no ARM processors strong enough to closely mimic x86 chips, making virtualization impractical.

They said it might work but it’s likely to fail! Are you sure?

I've attempted to play Wolfenstein 3D on my tablet using a DOS emulator, which worked fine initially. However, the emulation layer remains unstable. Personally, I doubt it would be feasible because Linux is currently the only operating system that supports both x86 and ARM architectures. Most applications designed for Linux may not run smoothly on ARM either.

I mentioned using emulation. It won’t work perfectly. You could possibly play late '90s and early 2000s games on emulation with an ARM chip, but newer AAA games won’t run that way.

If you had an emulator, perhaps? I’m not sure there are any reliable x86 emulators for ARM. Even if they existed, I think the experience wouldn’t be great. For playing games on ARM, streaming solutions like NVIDIA Shield or Steam In-Home Streaming would be a better option. You’d also need a full gaming desktop setup along with the ARM device itself.
