Hey there, looks like your friend is facing some performance hiccups with their setup. The RTX3070 paired with a 2700i processor might struggle in Minecraft unless the settings are optimized. Check if VSync is accidentally enabled, adjust resolution or frame rate settings, and ensure both systems have enough RAM and proper cooling. A lower resolution or reduced settings could help boost performance.

Ensure Vsync is turned off in the game and Nvidia control panel. Verify the monitor refresh rate matches your needs. Set the game's frame rate cap to unlimited. If issues persist, remove any custom configurations and recheck all settings.

I've already completed everything, and I want to note it functions well in other games too. When he included sodium, the FPS reached 200, though that remains quite low.

He adjusted the graphics options to the highest possible frame rate, and checked his Minecraft app settings within the Nvidia Control Panel. It wasn’t GeForce Experience—it was the official Nvidia interface. No other suggestions came to mind.

Lithium and phosphor are also high-speed enhancement tools often paired with sodium.

Minecraft generally stays under 4GB, and its RAM is typically dual-channel.

Suggest using at least 4GB; higher usage only reduces performance. RAM speed is 2933MHz but lacks dual-channel capability—even with that, the gain would likely be minimal.

A dual-channel setup would greatly boost CPU performance, Ryzen's core-to-core latency improves with higher memory bandwidth. If you have extra memory to share, try it out and check if it enhances speed.

He’s allocating 4GB from one channel module? That’s not ideal. Ryzen, especially the 2000 series, performs best with fast RAM—3000mhz minimum, ideally 3200mhz or higher, and dual-channel support is key. Using slower single-channel memory will hurt performance noticeably. Many tutorials highlight how dual-channel speeds boost Ryzen’s efficiency.
