Only OptiFine supports shaders, though it's still in preview. Version 1.16 hasn't included shader features yet.

I also have shader support in the Optifine 1.16 preview. Initially, I was a bit concerned about that. Reducing monitor resolution can be a bit annoying. I'm not entirely confident it will work, but I'll share my thoughts once he tries it. Thanks a lot for the assistance so far!

The preview wouldn't utilize the shader, which might lead to complications.
