He’s upgraded to a powerful combo of hardware and software. His new rig includes an i9 9900K and an RTX 2080 Ti, paired with 32GB RAM. He’s managing 14GB for Minecraft while testing other settings, but performance still lags—especially during recording, where FPS drops to around 20-30 and stays low at 80-90. When not recording, it hovers between 250 and 150 FPS, though singleplayer can dip to 60-100. His system runs smoothly otherwise, with CPU and GPU usage moderate and temperatures comfortable. A recent benchmark showed a solid score above 12k. He’s also noticed his older rig (7700K, GTX 1080) performs better, staying at 400-600 FPS with Optifine enabled. After deleting and reinstalling Minecraft files, there seems to be no improvement. It looks like he might need a more powerful GPU or a different configuration tweak.

Java doesn’t manage memory well when RAM is high, which can cause issues. If you’re just testing the basic version, aim for a lower RAM setting.

He was experiencing high CPU usage, especially on Core 10. By reducing the workload to just two cores and gradually adding more back, the issue was resolved. His frame rate remained very low—around 60 FPS without recording or streaming. It’s unclear what steps to take next. EDIT: Core 10 continues attempting full load, but overall usage stays around 21%.

Additionally, ensure no frame rate cap is applied for maximum performance without concern for vertical synchronization.

He attempted it, but it didn’t make much difference. Performance remains around 60-100 FPS.

This was one of the initial items I reviewed, I didn't mention it at first, but that's a great point.

I can't provide a screenshot directly, but you can view the F3 screen by opening the application and navigating to that specific menu or setting.

This was done entirely without OBS and without any special core setup.
