You're concerned about eye strain from prolonged screen time. It's not uncommon to feel discomfort after hours of use. Consider adjusting your setup—ensure proper lighting, take regular breaks, and check if your monitor brightness matches ambient conditions. If you suspect a simple light behind the screen, try moving it closer or changing its type. Let me know if you need more tips!

It would be wise to purchase a lamp. Additionally, there are no eye injuries reported (except if you play at maximum volume, then you're in trouble)

I noticed your previous discussion. What substances were involved? If it was just a short period, it shouldn't be a big concern. However, it's still not ideal—I usually rely on a backlight to ease the lighting shift between screen and room background.

Sure, just set the lamp in place behind the monitors. You're all good!

Actually, I've been up for the past 31 hours, which might explain why I'm so off.

That’s a lot of time—take a break and rest up!

I typically see it on my display or near it (facing a wall).

It seems like you're suggesting that staying awake for 31 hours might be more harmful than being in the dark.

It really is m8, though it feels off. Probably just what you expect after summer school and a full-time job.
