I recently began playing Battlefield 3 with friends again, everything was running smoothly at over 60 frames per second until one day I launched it and only got around 10 fps. After restarting my computer, lowering the game settings, and trying the campaign mode, the issue persisted. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I'm also going to check it out since my 770 has suddenly dropped to 30 FPS or less in Battlefield, after previously running smoothly at 60 FPS or higher.

Verify the issue, inspect the power supply unit, and note that several factors could be responsible.

Maybe a few faulty drivers?

The reason for not auto-updating comes from the drivers involved.

I've experienced problems with my 760 and 780 following the September 22 driver update. If you're using Windows 10, it might be related to that version. Many of my games have suffered significant FPS drops afterward.

It doesn't seem to be an OS issue; everything functioned properly after updating the driver. I plan to remove the newest version and reinstall the older one.
