The game demands significant CPU power. Running it on SLI Titan Xs at resolutions below 4K typically caused performance issues, especially when all threads were active on a 4.4GHz 5960X.

It seems the game consumed a significant portion of RAM and virtual memory, despite not reaching maximum usage. The CPU utilization was around 80-90%. You might want to boost the virtual memory settings if you're using a solid-state drive or hard disk.

He needed more than 4GB of memory. His system ran on an i5 750 with an HD 7950, which reached full RAM capacity at 4GB, causing noticeable performance drops. After adding another 4GB, the lag disappeared and games ran smoothly.
