Try adjusting various field of view options, which often leads to motion sickness in games. Along with that, motion blur also plays a role.

Search for cooperative titles or split-screen options on Steam.
Explore the Trine series page.
Check Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Stardew Valley listings.
Look at Torchlight 1 and 2 entries.
Consider Borderlands 2 online co-op.
Verify FOV settings and monitor distance to avoid motion sickness.
Take turns playing Worms (reloaded, armageddon).
If time allows, try Heroes of Might and Magic 4 or 5.

I would love Super Mario, but I'm not aware of one that has a Coop mode?
Mario party would probably bore me to death really quickly

Man, those ideas are great. I’ll likely look into Stardew Valley—I think it’s a good fit and it feels relaxed. And it’s available on GoG.

Look at the game Unravel 2, a beautiful side-scrolling platform puzzle title where you can team up to tackle challenges. Maybe you could ask her about her favorite hobby and then you both join in?
