I recently installed my new PC setup. It runs the stock cooler with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 2070. While playing Apex Legends, I noticed my CPU temperature hit 93°C at its maximum, while the GPU stayed around 65-70°C. The temps are getting really high even though I haven’t overclocked yet. Should I consider purchasing an aftermarket cooler? I didn’t buy one because I thought the stock cooler would suffice since I don’t plan to overclock the CPU. My case is a Deepcool Mattrex 55 mesh.
I'm checking temperatures with hwinfo64 and Ryzen Master since those tools provide accurate Ryzen-specific data. If needed, I'll replace the cooler and reapply thermal paste.
I ran MSI Afterburner to monitor the temps. Even using Ryzen Master, I noticed readings around 85-90°C.
