I aim to play games and edit videos remotely from your gaming PC at home. You need minimal latency, so I’m using a Wired connection via Ethernet through WireGuard. I’ve set up a VPN called Tailscale on the PC and connected directly to it. However, I understand WireGuard is great for speed, but I want to know if there’s another way to link straight to the PC without relying solely on the router.

Tailscale offers a straightforward method for configuring WireGuard, making it simple enough. Link both the tablet and the computer directly to your TailNet connection.

Yes, you can configure the WG via TS. For remote access, consider using Moonlight—likely paired with Sunshine—since VNC is no longer as fast.

Thanks everyone, I’m keeping things as they are. I wake up on Lan, set up WireGuard on the router, and connect to Tailscale from my PC for gaming and editing.
