It looks like many players face the same problem. CSGO appears to have had this issue too, and poorly written games might contribute to it.

I understand it's just an example, but this launcher is famously unpredictable. Try running with %command% --launcher-skip once it stabilizes. It made me consider alternative graphics backends. Check protondb.com to confirm you're not encountering known problems. Also, sharing the output of xrandr|grep -v "^ " could help clarify any GPU-related confusion.

And some extra adjustments with each screen turned off, except the primary one, suggests that resolution scaling also affects the mouse positioning. Yeah, Linux gaming isn't fully polished yet—prime time wouldn't be here.

Sure, I did get the game running despite some issues. The launcher was faulty before I turned off the TV, which helped. Cyberpunk works perfectly now, so that’s a plus. I’ve played through everything there is to do, but it’s a good reminder of how important it is to follow instructions.

It really highlights how useful and effective the Steam Deck is. I really enjoy it a lot.

Checking display settings and connections.
Screen 0 meets the size requirement of at least 320 x 200.
Current resolution is 2560 x 1440, with a range from 16384 x 16384.
DisplayPort-0 is not connected, while DisplayPort-1 is active in primary mode (2560x1440+0+0).
DisplayPort-2 and HDMI-A-0 are disconnected.
DVI-I models are also absent or not present.
Two additional screens are listed in the output.

No, I didn't hardcode the display layout. I used the tools provided by your DE to achieve this.

I've attempted to adjust the layout by modifying .conf, xrandr, and the DE GUI settings. Now it runs through the DE GUI.

I just glanced at the cinnamon monitor setup file. It seems odd with so many monitors listed using weird coordinates and resolutions. Looks like a challenge waiting to happen—especially since my wife is tugging at my shirt sleeve.
