i encountered overheating warnings because of older CPUs that use static overclocks. This issue might still occur on newer chips if they support static overclocking depending on the settings. For example, my e8400 at 4.4ghz runs well under 80°C but crashes above 85-90°C since it struggles to maintain performance at those temperatures. The CPU can’t handle the required speed and heat, so throttling kicks in even without obvious signs. On newer systems with auto settings, this shouldn’t happen unless you push the CPU beyond safe limits. You should disable XMP in BIOS or adjust settings to default values, and ensure all RAM works properly. If tweaks help, run MemTest86 and Prime95 to check for stability issues. If problems persist despite those steps, your Windows might be damaged and will need a fresh install.
Visit the official site for details. Your system is running an outdated BIOS that doesn't fully back up 14th-gen CPUs.
I've turned off XMP and adjusted the core ratios, which has improved performance. Are there more optimal configurations available? These settings seem mainly for troubleshooting. I'll update my BIOS later tonight. @191x7
I'm still not back home, yet I saw I mistakenly sent you the incorrect motherboard. Sorry, it's actually the MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI. My BIOS is now at version 7D91vHA. @Somerandomtechyboi
