Hello, I received a 144 Hz monitor today. Recently, while gaming, my frame rate fluctuated from 300 to 80 and back. I’m not sure why this happened, as with my 60 Hz setup it stayed steady at 300 FPS. My specs are an i7-4790K @ 4.6 GHz and an R9 290. Thanks, Milan.
It is possible only when it also includes a higher resolution.
I understand you're experiencing this, but it seems the issue isn't resolved. The video remains at 1080p and now only drops to around 70 FPS, with micro stutters.
Your graphics card isn't providing enough bandwidth to run all three at once, especially if one is 144Hz. Are you using any specific inputs? Consider moving one to your motherboard's onboard video. Enable Multi-Monitor in BIOS under Advanced/System Agent Settings, and extend it in Windows as usual.
