Hey there! Your setup sounds solid, but the low FPS in CS:GO might be due to several factors. The i7-8700K is decent, but the GTX 1070 can struggle with modern games at higher settings. Activate developer console via the settings menu
Press the space bar to launch the console
Enter "fps_max" and input 0
For menu display, type "fps_max_menu" and press 0 if desired for 999fps... haha Enjoy!
