Playing cold CS Go on an AMD FX 8320 processor
I secured my brother to purchase a mid-range PC (around $500–550). However, the GPU isn’t arriving yet. I’m managing to run CS:GO at 60 FPS with low graphics settings and only an FX 8320 installed. My system specs are as follows: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX motherboard, AMD FD8320FRHKBOX FX-8320 FX Series 8-core Black Edition, Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB kit (2x4GB), 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 RAM, EVGA 600 B1 80+ BRONZE, 600W power supply with 100-B1-0600-KR warranty. I really appreciate your support and wish you a great day!
Without a dedicated GPU available, it's not possible since there isn't one on the chip.
Need a GPU? The 8320 doesn’t have an integrated graphics unit. If you have a 760G card with drivers, it’s not ideal to push an 8-core FX processor onto that board.
