I enjoy playing Age of Empires 2 HD alongside a friend, who shared he plays on a budget desktop without a dedicated graphics card. Another friend mentioned she runs Sims 3 on a $400 laptop. This made me think about which games fit well on less expensive machines without separate graphics cards. I’ve tried casual titles like Plants vs Zombies and Tetris on older laptops from 2007 to 2011. I’ve also used NES, SNES, and N64 emulators on cheap laptops lacking a GPU. I’m curious if there’s a ranking for integrated graphics and whether certain types perform better with lighter games. I’m looking at a list of games that might suit cheaper systems without a dedicated card.

There isn't really a ranking because they all belong to the CPU. In general, the more recent the CPU, the better the integrated graphics tend to be, especially when comparing AMD models against other AMD chips and Intel models versus other Intel ones. Usually, there isn't a clear choice made about which integrated graphics to use.
