Testing FarCry 5 2540x1440p Ultra with VSync gives you around 47 fps on average, peaking at 56. Without VSync you see 46 fps on average and 55 max. You're not hitting steady 60 fps even though your monitor supports 60Hz. Your setup includes a GTX 1060, Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB RAM at 3200Mhz. Consider checking display calibration or adjusting VSync settings for better consistency.

At maximum configurations and 1440p resolution, I believe your system won't exceed 60 frames per second. It may just stay slightly below that.

Only cap the frame rate, it won’t exceed it. For 60 fps, reduce the settings.

I was hoping for a minimum of 60 frames per second, but the tests show an average of 47 at 1440p with ultra settings.

It makes sense. We understand that a 1060 isn't considered a 1440p card, while the 1070 is. The game's performance improvements are already significantly above average.

Adjust to the reduced options? You're aiming for 1440p on a 1060 resolution?

You'll likely require a GTX 1070 minimum to achieve around 60fps. Just don't have sufficient power for the task. V-Sync restricts your frame rate to match your monitor's refresh rate, which isn't ideal. Benchmarks online often don't reflect real-world performance because they ignore factors like background applications—such as antivirus or browsers.

Review the page to confirm it indicates 47 fps at those resolutions. Your numbers look reasonable for a 1060 and 1440p setup.
