Thanks Obama, acknowledging Ubisoft. In the president's defense, a game code expiring quickly for a major AAA title within just a few years—or not at all—is really problematic. He might have made a mistake, but I don't blame him entirely. A friend of mine experienced the same situation.
Game codes are designed to stop piracy. Once you receive a code, use it quickly. This is widely understood.

Absolutely. Others refer to me as outdated for sticking with old methods, but at least physical media doesn’t lose quality over time.
