Just now, I put Half Life 2 on my computer. When I began playing, the non-player characters were speaking, but their mouths weren't moving. Could someone please suggest a solution to this issue?

I agree, and furthermore, Half-Life 2 can operate on extremely modest graphics cards. What card are you utilizing to play the game? Perhaps your card is reducing animations in order to maintain a fluid performance.
