It's possible to assign system memory for it. By default, it uses the maximum or about one-third of total RAM. Reducing graphics settings and resolution allows playing games from 2013/4. My laptop has an HD4400 and I've played Rocket League with it. It works, but I suggest opting for less demanding games.
