I enjoy a lot of CS:GO, with around 1.3K hours played and I still haven’t gotten tired of it.
Game you can play literally for ever? Garry's Mod A game which you may enjoy? I don't know because you haven't said what type of games you like except grinding and progressing, maybe Ascend Hand Of Kul? Wait! Darkest Dungeon! Haven't played it my self, but seems really cool, look at the game play of it before you buy it though You can't have a game forever if you progress, which will mean you will eventually reach the end and complete it
if you're seeking offline titles then the elder scrolls v skyrim offers a vast library, I've been playing it since its 2011 release. I've taken breaks at times but always return to progress on my character. For those who enjoy depth, all DLCs are worth getting. The game's true limit comes from mods—there are numerous fully voiced quest mods that could add hours of playtime, plus graphics enhancements that make it feel like a final fantasy experience. You'll find mods for nearly every aspect you'd want to explore.
