Based on those screenshots, a 8x tessellation appears to be a solid middle ground for visual appeal and performance. I wonder why CD Projekt Red didn’t implement it themselves or add a more accessible setting? Including a slider in the menu would have been helpful for all users, not just AMD customers.

Adjust Anti Aliasing settings in Hairworks' Rendering.ini file. By default it applies 8x MSAA to the hair, even when AA is disabled.

I recall some YouTube tech influencers getting frustrated years back when AMD introduced the Option in CCC to tweak tessellation levels. Some argued it was a cheat by AMD since the default is "AMD Optimized." What began because Batman's Cape in Arkham Asylum was overly tessellated has now become something I appreciate having control over. Those who once mocked AMD can learn from their mistakes, no matter who they were. :lol:
