Even high-end Nvidia graphics cards can be damaged by HairWorks, as their appearance appears so smooth and artificial.

This setup seems unusual, but it’s not uncommon to mix different components. The A-10 7850k paired with an R9 295X2 might not work well together.

It was for a project build, and if I recall right, he returned to his FX 8350.

Seems well done! I’m curious about his FPS after that attempt... Maybe it was a strong performance? Or perhaps it was influenced by some unusual setup?

It was an experiment. I aimed to see how performance changed at the bottleneck compared to my FX 8350. I was crafting a build for my wife and enjoyed the process.

It increases GPU utilization by 25% when Hairworks is activated. Not ideal.

Unusual, considering the rest of what I've seen. You seem to need maximum performance from your GPU.
