I updated the original comment with additional details and included some screenshots. The PS4 and Xbox One releases are noted for December 31, 2016, lol... http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...2-230c-20/ Anyway, I’m still not convinced. Nadeo hasn’t delivered much quality since their acquisition by Ubisoft in 2009. Trackmania² Canyon, Stadium and Valley were decent, but ManiaPlanet disrupted the community. Shootmania Storm was just terrible. I’m sure Ubisoft will try to complicate things further, perhaps targeting modders. I really hope this title unites the community, but let’s keep an eye on it. PS: The name is also a problem since there’s already a TrackMania Turbo version for the Nintendo DS.
New updates appear in a recent blog entry: https://blog.maniaplanet.com/blog/2015/0...nia-turbo/. Key points include the idea of forming another community hub rather than concentrating everything in one location. This suggests a more fragmented fan base. Some creators began addressing fan queries, raising questions about whether newcomers to TrackMania who own TMT will simply pick at random. There’s also speculation about free access offers—some might get titles from ManiaPlanet even if they buy TMT, but no clear motivation seems present.
