While it may seem steep compared to past releases like Trackmania United Forever at 29,99€ for seven environments, the upcoming console release is worth considering. It bears some resemblance to Sega AllStars Racing, with an arcade feel—but whether that’s a good thing remains to be seen. I’m a fan of the franchise and might still take it if the development moves forward on Steam and removes ManiaPlanet elements. (Side comment: They didn’t mention Nadeo, only Ubisoft—somewhat let down...)
It reminds me of a canyon, so I'm already interested. Can't watch the video at the moment.
I won’t be pre-ordering, I’ll probably wait for a Steam discount. Still, I really enjoy this series—I’ve played every title (Canyon seems to be the favorite), and I’m excited about this one. It would have been great if the trailer played at smooth 60FPS!
Basically, it's just TM. Every version of TM has always been that way. The main change here is consoles being able to participate. Why would I need to pay more for this?
