I considered broader options, since I know it's quite restricted for gaming. My friend mentioned wanting to join online multiplayer, but only with them and a few others. I also learned Steam doesn't support that feature.

Remember, streaming directly through Steam means you won’t be able to control the server with your own machine. The client device manages the server’s actions, so you can still let someone play, but you can’t run the PC yourself.
