I've been using it from the start and never experienced slowdowns while driving.

It's really appealing. Faster performance is a solid advantage, backed by data. Plus, I was joking about the special edition—Plasti Dipped it...

Observe your movement in one direction at 60 frames per second, then reverse by turning 180 degrees at 40 fps, switch to a 35-degree turn at 75 fps, continue with a 5-degree adjustment at 60 fps, and finally reach 3,4527 degrees at 35 fps. GTA never maintains a frame rate longer than one second. Driving through the city makes it fluctuate rapidly. Thanks to Gsync, it remains fluid. GTA5 isn't the most optimized title either. Titles such as Crysis3, FC4, or Witcher3 consistently exceed 60 fps when fully loaded.

I configure the system at 1440p with a regular 980 rig and keep g-sync stable at 45-75fps based on the scene and display content. I use standard graphics with FXAA enabled, grass textures, very high settings, no reflections, MSAA active, and everything else maximized. Advanced options include high-res shadows, long shadows, streaming, and distance sliders at 75%. A 980ti should handle these settings smoothly and likely activate other advanced features without problems.

It's frustrating having to rely on a NASA-powered PC for GTA V at high settings.

1 980Ti provides sufficient power for 1440p resolution.

I'm testing it on an ultra display with a 21:9 resolution of 3440x1440. It runs smoothly at around 35 to 40 frames per second, but I'm curious how others are performing with a 980 resolution.

I don’t think 1440p at about 70fps is inherently worse. I favor frame rate over other settings. 35fps feels quite difficult to handle.
